Jen Jones' interest in quilts was triggered by those in her family home in Massachusetts and developed into a passion soon after 1971 when she arrived in Wales. Since then she has bought and sold many hundreds of Welsh quilts while quietly assembling a collection she believes to be truly representative of the whole spectrum of Welsh quilting. She has written for and has
featured in numerous books and magazines and is frequently asked to talk about Welsh quilts, on quilting and interior design programmes on television.

Jen wants to make this colourful and artistic aspect of Welsh culture accessible to everybody. Her current preoccupation is to develop a purpose built gallery / museum locally in Wales.
